Keynote Address – NSBE DC Scholarship Reception

Kel will deliver Keynote Remarks at the NSBE DC Future Innovators Scholarship Reception, part of the 25-Year Anniversary celebration weekend for the Washington, DC Chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers.

“NSBE DC will provide at least twenty-five $1,000 merit-based scholarships to outstanding high school seniors in the Washington, DC metropolitan area who plan to major in STEM fields at a four-year college or university. The chapter has awarded more than $30,000 in scholarships over the last four years and awarded more than 100 Future Innovator Scholarships over since the chapter’s inception.
“This will be a memorable and sophisticated event where NSBE DC honors these scholars for their exemplary academic records and outstanding community service.”
Kel holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from Auburn University. In addition to STEM (Science, Tech, Engineering & Math), he regularly speaks on various topics, including Motivation, Anti-Bullying, and Building Student Organizations.
