Kel Jackson is a leader, speaker, and community servant.
Kel is Managing Partner at Clay Ridge Capital, a firm he founded to buy and operate manufacturing companies near Boston. He serves as a Board Director of the FACTS Initiative and as Staff and Interview Board Member for Harvard Business School MBA Admissions.
In prior roles, Kel worked as a Program Manager at Aurora Flight Sciences, a Boeing Company (BA), where he was P&L owner for multiple teams developing aircraft and capabilities for the US Department of Defense. Prior, he served as Chief of Staff to two consecutive CEOs at Aurora. Prior to Business School, he spent his career with Pratt & Whitney of Raytheon Technologies (RTX). There, he worked as an Engineering Intern before being hired full-time as a Process Engineer, after which he was promoted to Lead Process Engineer and then Operations Supervisor.
Entrepreneurial from an early age, he has founded two companies: His first achieved sales across the globe, and his second provided creative real estate solutions to homeowners.
His past community involvements include serving as the Vice President of Audience Engagement and Executive Board Director of the Columbus Symphony Orchestra, as a Board Director of the Columbus Building Authority, and as a Board Director at Large and as Vice-Chair of Governmental Affairs of the Young Professionals of Columbus.
A versatile and dynamic speaker, Kel has been sought after to speak on topics including Leadership, Motivation, Success skills, and Careers in STEM fields.
Kel is a native of Birmingham, AL. He and his wife Ebony reside in Boston with their daughter.
Kel earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from Auburn University.
